NSdance Parties - Frequently Asked Questions

What information is required to make a booking?

When making a booking please confirm your booking name and billing address, name and age of child, event date, time, name of venue and address, any venue access details and whether parking is available nearby.

When is payment due?

A deposit is required to guarantee bookings, the amount will vary depending on your party size but starts at £25. Deposits can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash. Your final balance payment must be paid seven days before your party date or in cash on arrival at the party.

Are you Insured for public liability?

We have £10m public liability insurance with Equity insurance.

How long does the party last?

Parties last 2hrs with a 20-30 min break for food after approximately the first hour. Whilst the children enjoy their food I will be on hand to assist with anything you need to help the party run smoothly whilst your child’s party playlist plays in the background music and keep the party flowing.

Can parties be longer than 2hrs?

From experience I think it’s best to keep parties to a 2hr golden party rule! going over the 2hr mark can often result in children becoming overtired, if parties are kept to my golden rule all the children leave happy having had a great time!

Can I book a joint party?

Absolutely! I appreciate that children’s parties can become expensive, sharing the cost is a great idea, it also frees up weekends if your child is in a large class.

Are there restrictions on party numbers?

Yes I have a minimum number of 10 children and a maximum of 30.  For parties with between 20 and 30 children I have an assistant dance teacher to ensure the party runs smoothly.

Do you work along side third party entertainers?

I certainly do, I often work with character mascots, face painters, balloon artists, I’m happy to work with other entertainers to give your child a perfect party.

Is food or hall hire included in the cost?

No, I do not cater at the parties but have a list of caterers I can recommend and work well with. Venue hire is also not included in the cost but I can recommend venues to fit your budget.
